Who was Alfred NoBel?
Alfred Nobel was known as the father of explosives and was Swedish chemist, inventor, engineer, entrepreneur and author who invented the explosives called 'Dynamite'. This explosive dramatically revolutionised the process of construction, mining and even demolition. However, dynamites also had negative impact such as being used in a war which killed thousands of people.
A lot of explosions were used during the 18th to 19th century, the era of the Industrial Revolution. The railroads were built in USA, in Australia, gold rushes were making people insane trying to get wealthy, and in London, the underground railways were built. But to make these possible, people needed newer explosives and this is when Nobel's explosive, dyanmite became extremely useful.
